California's 2009 Formaldehyde Regulations: What does the new CARB Rule Mean for Wood Products Manufacturers?
The Forest Products Society, Upper Mississippi Valley and Midwest Section, sponsored this webinar in December 2008, featuring key information that will help producers and consumers understand and comply with the new California formaldehyde air toxic control measure. This webinar feature a presentation from John Bradfield from the Composite Panel Association, discussing the background and implementation of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) rule for formaldehyde emission from composite wood products used in manufacturing finished wood products. Denise Van Valkenburg of the Masco Retail Cabinet Group presented information focused on how a secondary wood products manufacturer has addressed the CARB rule and strategies for other companies to consider.
